Kampoeng Tempo Doeloe (KTD) is back at La Piazza, Mal Kelapa Gading, as an equally important part of the 13th Jakarta Fashion & Food Festival.
This event is held for an entire month starting from 22 April 2016.
So, what's exciting about this year's KTD?
This year, the theme will be on how the Chinese culture has left such a strong influence on our day to day food. It is so deeply ingrained that we can't tell the difference anymore of what are authentically from here and what have arrived here from China. One of them is noodle, which is practically on every homes table around the country. Not that it ever matters because I looove noodle, and I am, for sure, grateful for noodles being a part of me.
The noodle is the most versatile food around that throughout its journey, it has picked up any local taste that it can carry. And, we are talking about a lot of taste here!
KTD 2016 pledges 'Aneka Mi Nusantara' as its theme. Around 88 small to medium food sellers will bring about 200 menu for us to enjoy! For sure, there will be eight (yup, that's also my lucky number!) types of noodle prepared in a Nusantara way as one of the must try menu in the event.
See you at KTD!
