Aside from fresh tuna, this dish is can be made with tuna in brine or smoked tuna.
Steps
Fry tuna. Remove from oil and drain. Shred the cooked fish.
Heat the oil. Stir-fry garlic and shallots until fragrant. Add galangal, bay leaves, petai, string beans, corn, tomato, red chilies, sweet soy sauce, salt, sugar, and water. Stir.
Add shredded fish and stir well. Remove from heat. Serve
