7 Ways To Choose A Fish


A fish is fresh:

  1. If its eyes are bright instead of grey.
  2. If its gills are bright red.
  3. If its flesh is not bluish, especially on the stomach part.
  4. If its skin is not too slimy.
  5. If its scales are strong and intact.
  6. If its fins and tail are not fragile.
  7. If the fish is still alive, ensure that that its movement is balanced, swimming neither slanting nor slow. When caught, it is not actively running away.
