Making Soto More Practical

A soto (Indonesian soupy dish) comes with a lot of condiments. To make it more practical, the trick is in organising its steps:
- Before you place all ingredients in a serving bowl, blanche thinly sliced cabbages in the soto broth so that they become slightly tender or boiling water.
- Organise the noodle, sliced cabbages, spring rolls and tomato.
- Pour in soto broth
- Sprinkle with chopped spring onion, and add a squeeze of limau (L. Citrus amblycarpa) juice. Because limau has a lot of seeds, make sure that you deseed it first before squeezing.
- Serve while warm.
